I stumbled upon this hotel when the one we passed was way pricier, and I was pleasantly surprised by the clean rooms with brand new carpet and comfortable beds, which was definitely a plus. However, there was a distinct smell of smoke and mildew that lingered, albeit for an additional fee. The service, although pleasant and friendly, raised some eyebrows with an unexpected extra charge on my husband's account. The location was good for exploring the area but not easily visible from the highway. The dining options were limited, offering only coffee, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a decent stay with both positives and negatives.
